CFO & CHRO South Africa Summit

On 3 March, 2022, South Africa’s leading Finance and HR professionals convened at their first summit in 2 years for a Boardroom Simulation.

Executives from these groups gathered in their numbers to discuss the growing importance of ESG in corporate South Africa, and the need for understanding and addressing the ESG impacts their businesses have.

Aimée Girdwood was invited to contribute as the event’s ESG expert. While the simulation was hypothetical, it yielded extremely relevant real-world insights and generated meaningful discussion and debate about what implementing ESG looks like in practice.

They concluded that, as key decision makers and leaders, it was their responsibility to drive the ESG agenda within their organisations.
